Pvt Robert Pennington, one of the original Pendleton 8, who was sentenced to 8 years confinement, as a result of a plea bargain several months ago, was released today by LtGen Mattis. Seven are now out and one(Sgt Hutchins remains in the brig). We are hoping for a favorable decision in his case by Lt Gen Mattis by the 1st week in September, when the General returns from the sand box.

USMC 3/5 Marine Defense Fund. This site has been created to aide in the defense of seven Marines and Navy corpsman who are heroes of 3rd Battalion 5th Marines Kilo Company. The Marine Defense Fund has been set up by friends and family of these men, to obtain defense lawyers. This country has a justice system where innocence should always be presumed.
